Manchester City won the English Premier League 2021/2022 tittle. This means that they will be motivated to compete for the tittle in the new season that is set to begin in August 2022.
In preparation for the new season they have signed new strikers that will help them reclaim the tittle. They have signed Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund and Julian Alvarez from River Plate.
Having these two strikers will means that they could have a new formation that will be able to accommodate the two strikers. A 4-4-2 formation consisting of two wingers, 2 attacking midfielders and 4 defenders would be more applicable.
Phil Foden and Riyad Mahrez can play as wingers with Bernardo Silva and Kevin De Bruyne playing as attacking midfielders. Joao Cancelo and Kyle Walker can play as left back and right back while John Stones and Ruben Dias can play as centre backs.
Here is the potential Manchester City line up that can win the 2022/2023 English Premier League tittle.
