Chelsea invested in several players over the summer transfer window with majority of the new signings living the best of the football career lives at The Stamford Bridge. Timo Werner was signed from RB Leipzig after Chelsea hijacked his move to Liverpool.
It has not been an easy run for the 24 years old Germany international in England as he has flopped and failed to score goals the way he used to while playing in Germany.
However, it seems his new manager has found out how to utilize him and get him scoring goals. His goal against Newcastle United was the first since he scored against the League one team back in November 7th.
Speaking about how his manager has made him get scoring, Timo Werner was quoted telling BT Sports that, "It’s helped me that someone can scream at me in German! He is [Tuchel] a really good guy, has a good idea of the football we want to play and, when we have more and more training sessions with him, we will get better and better. A few weeks ago we were somewhere and nowhere and we were a lot of points behind fourth place."
Will he get more goals after his first against Newcastle United or he will wait until he faces a lower and weaker side to score again?
