Arsenal Offer €40 Million To Villarreal For Winger Yeremi Pino

Arsenal have made a move to sign Villarreal winger Yeremi Pino. However, the Gunners fave stiff competition from Liverpool in the race for the 19-year-old signature according to reports.

Arsenal have been active in the transfer market having already signed Manchester City Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko. They have also recruited Portuguese International midfielder Fabio Vieira from Porto, Brazilian starlet Marquinos and a new goalkeeper Matt Turner.

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta however is still keen bring in a new winger to provide competition to Bukayo Saka on the right wing. Arsenal attempted to sign former Leeds United winger Raphinha, the Brazilian International however opted to join Barcelona.

Radio Villarreal reports that Villarreal will consider offers for the 19-year-old. Yeremi is considered one for the future and he has a release clause of £67.5 million. The report further suggests that the Gunners have submitted an offer of €40 million (£33 million) offer for Yeremy.

The young starlet netted six goals assisted four more in 21 starts for Villarreal in La Liga in the last campaign. Villarreal are expecting a fee around £50 million for the winger.

Liverpool are also monitoring the player's situation. Villarreal are eyeing a move Tottenham's midfielder Giovani Lo Celso in case Yeremi leaves this summer.
