Liverpool midfielder Harvey Elliott has responded to an online troll with a brutal clapback. The 18 year old was on the wrong end of a horror tackle by Leeds united defender Pascal Struijk which saw him stretchered off the field in tears.
The horrific nature of the injury has seen messages of support pour in for Elliott and he took to Instagram to give an update after his operation. Amidst a slew of supportive messages pouring in, one Manchester United fan made an insensitive reply to a video of Elliott walking onto the field for Liverpool, saying that Elliott is not walking like that anymore. The Liverpool star went on to reply to the fan that he has more legs than Manchester United have trophies in the last 8 years.
Although no timeline has been given for Harvey Elliot's recovery, he is expected to be sidelined for a considerable amount of time. Jurgen Klopp has admitted that Liverpool will stand by the midfielder and give him all the support he needs on his road to recovery.
