More Woes For Manchester United as Star Player Reportedly Puts on Hold Contract Talks

Premier League giants, Manchester United could be set for tough times ahead with star player and midfield maestro, Bruno Fernandes said to have ended potential new contract talks following the ongoing struggles by the club.

According to reports from reputable Journalist, Duncan Castles, the Portugal international has decided to shelve plans of potentially extending his stay at the Theatre of Dreams, with the Red Devils currently lagging behind in the Premier League table and that he would only consider re-entering into negotiations should things change.

Moreover, the former Sporting Lisbon star is understood to be looking for an equity with the squad's leading salaries given his importance to the team, with him currently the most valuable player in the United squad after managing to bag 35 goals and 45 assists in 102 appearances since his signing.

Meanwhile, the 27 year old is not the only player whose future at Old Trafford is in limbo with French international, Paul Pogba also facing the final months of his contract with the Red half of Manchester.
