Gor Mahia defeated Al Ahly Merowe in Egypt, 3-1 and will be playing for at least a draw on Sunday. On the other side, Merowe will be under pressure to overturn their first leg loss.
K'Ogalo has received a boost ahead of their return match following the Ministry of Health approval to have 10,000 Gor Mahia fans allowed entry into the stadium. The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) has also approved the request by the club.
The fans have been barred from entering the stadium since the first case of Covid-19 was announced in the country back in March, 2020.
Further, the Federation of Kenya Football (FKF) and Ministry of Health are working around the clock to have fans return to the stadiums.
