The 2020/2021 season for Chelsea has been full of mixed results especially before Thomas Tuchel was appointed as the head coach of the club. During the time of Lampard their biggest problem was scoring goals.
Everyone expected the Blues to be the team to beat after they signed great players but the clubs disappointed their supporters. Since Tuchel has been in charge Chelsea has been extraordinary things which not even the fans expected them to achieve.
He has improved most of the players at the clubs who some joined the club in the summer they are starting to show signs of life. Kai Havertz and Timo Werner has dramatically improved in the recent matches after struggling during the time of Frank Lampard.
Kai Havertz is becoming the playmaker we saw at Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga. He has only managed five goals for Chelsea but when Tuchel came things have improved for the German golden boy.
The 22-year-old star has become a regular starter for the manager and he has been playing in different positions for him but he is still doing well. He is a versatile player who can offer different options for Tuchel. He won’t play much this season as the campaign is about to end but next season he is going to be outstanding to watch.
The former RB Leipzig forward has been the player who has struggled a lot in the entire squad for the Blues since he moved there last summer. He was one of best goal scorers in the Bundesliga but things have not been easy for him in England.
He has only managed 10 goals in all competitions for Chelsea but has started doing well under Tuchel and soon he will become the forward Chelsea expected him to be when they signed him. He was scoring over 20 goals every season and soon he will be doing that for Tuchel.
