So far so good when it comes to the interview process in search for the new Chief Justice in the country. All the 8 interviewed candidates have proved themselves in one way or the other. They all convinced some people in the country. Until now, Chitembwe Juma, Patricia Mbote, Martha Koome, David Marete, Philip Murgor, Nduma Nderi, Fred Ngatia and Ouko William Okello have been interviewed.
The battle is intensifying as the process is almost reaching it's end. Many people are claiming that the JSC will have a tough time coming up with the best suitable candidate due to the high level of competition offered, but in the midst of all that, things have taken a new twist after DP William Ruto's ally known as Samson Cherargei making worrying claims on the JSC Chairperson.
According to Samson Cherargei while speaking to Citizen TV, Professor Olive Mugenda is chairing the JSC panel for a certain candidate to win. Cherargei raised eyebrows after hinting that there is a big injustice going on.
"Kenyans know who will be CJ, the serious candidates were interviewed this week. This a futile exercise as the CJ is known. Prof. Olive Mugenda is chairing for a certain candidate to win; They should be careful of ethnic composition." Said Samson Cherargei.
Do you know the new Chief Justice as claimed by Samson Cherargei or those are just his claims? Share your opinion below.
