Arsenal yesternight played to a dissapointing 3:0 defeat against Liverpool. Both teams have been struggling this season and have also had their highs and lows. There were a couple of mistakes that led to Arsenal losing the match and I will analyse them below.
Aubameyang has been misfiring this season and his partnership with Lacazette has not borne anything substantial in the games they have started together.
In my opinion, youngster Gabriel Martinelli was supposed to start ahead of him so that Aubameyang plays the midweek Europa league fixture against Slavia Prague.
There was no one to carry the ball from midfield in my own perspective.Martin Odegaard was left with the creative duties however he could not manage it alone as he seemingly lacked support.
In my opinion I would have changed formation and maybe picked Willian who is speedy to operate from the left flank. This would have increased Arsenal attacking threat especially in the abscence of Bukayo Saka and Smith Rowe.
