The rise of Harambee stars has been steady over the recent past but the disappointment of not qualifying for the 2021 cup of Nations was a worry. Every Kenyan football fan would love to see their country play in the continental tournament.
The presence of good players is enough to drive of the idea of good performances. Players like Wanyama, Olunga, Joseph Okumu and Eric Ouma Marcelo are evidence that we can produce quality players. One of the players above has been in great form for the club with his assists and incredible performances.
Eric Ouma was all important for his club today as he scored the team's third goal with a powering short to the bottom corner. This is after the opposition defender made a blunder. The fast defender was quick to make the best out of the error. He sped past the defender and later beat the goalkeeper for his first goal for AIK.
His former Harambee Stars teammate Patrick Matasi was quick to appreciate hia fellow country man. Matasi went pn Facebook to congratulate Ouma and also make fun of the player. He wrote that the 'Omena' guy has scored. Ouma is well known for his love for the meal of of Omena and Ugali.
