Chelsea players will be back to the field tonight as they welcome Atletico Madrid at the Stamford Bridge in a champions league round of 16 fixture. Chelsea smashed Atletico 1-0 in their first leg.
Chelsea are already one step into the last quarter of the champions league having a very crucial away goal. However they face Atletico Madrid who are very focused to getting results. Last season they kicked out Liverpool out of the champions league in the second leg.
Chelsea under new coach Thomas Tuchel however have not lost any of their last. 14 matches. The team is playing impressive football and the players are not afraid of attacking anymore. Their rivals however continues lead on the other side.
Both sides were held to a goaless draw in their weekend matches. Chelsea shared points with Leeds United in their weekend fixture.
Chelsea have good opportunities of qualifying in the last quarter and even be announced champions of the word. Barcelona and Juventus have already bid goodbye to the league after they were knocked out at the round of 16.
Mason Mount and Jiorginho will miss the clash after they were shown yellow cards in the first leg.
