Chelsea football club are set for a major squad overhaul this summer transfer window, after some of their current stars failed to perform. The likes of summer transfers, Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech and some of their fringe stars have so far failed to impress.
One of their top transfer targets this summer transfer window is the striking position, where there likes of Borrusia Dortmund's Erling Haaland and Inter Milan's Romeru Lukaku have been tipped as the top transfer targets. The likes of Harry Kane and Sergio Aguero are also in the mix.
There is however, good news for Chelsea and other top teams after Tottenham Hotspurs centre forward Harry Kane expressed his desire to leave and look elsewhere to win trophies.Chelsea will be more than willing to pay his £150 plus buyout clause, but there are two problems.According to The Independent there are two reasons Kane may not join Chelsea this summer.
Here are two reason that may hinder Chelsea's chances even if they match his asking price;
1.Tottenham's relationship with Chelsea
The two clubs are rivals and share bad blood between them, and Tottenham's Daniel Levy will be opposed yo the idea of selling Kane to Chelsea.
2.Harry Kane himself will not be keen on a move to Chelsea
The star forward may not prefer a move to Tottenham's bitter rivals and will not want to sour his relationship with the Tottenham faithful.
