Kenya's Athlete Writes Her Name in the Books of Top Fastest Women Marathon Runners.

Kenya’s Marathon athlete Angela Tanui is the talk of the world as she wrote her name in the books of the top ten fastest women runners in the world as smashed the course record of the Amsterdam Marathon that was held on Sunday (17) in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Tanui cut the tape in a new personal best and new course record of 2:17.57. In the Mens Race Ethiopia’s Tamirat Tolo produced one of the finest finishes as he also destroyed the course record of the marathon race.

Tola smashed the previous record of 2:04.06 that had been set in 2018 by Lawrence Cherono from Kenya setting a new course record of 2:03.38. Kenya's Benard Koech came at number two with a time of 2.04.09. Other Kenyans in the race were Jonathan Korir who came at 4th with a time of 2.04.12, Keneth Kipyegon came at position 9th with a time of 2.06.05 and lastly, Bernad had a record of 2.06.32.
