ARSENAL: Gunners Are now Confident to Seal This Long Awaited Deal

With the summer transfer window close to the horizons, Arsenal Football Club among other European clubs work in between the lines to bolster the depth of their squad ahead of 2022/23 premier league season.

Having failed to sign their dream forward player that is Dusan Vlahovic in January, the Gunners rather escaped panic buying and will assess the available options this summer in order to fill the void, that could be left by the exit of both Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah.

With regards to different media outlets, Arsenal's pursuit for Manchester City and Brazilian lethal striker Gabriel Jesus remains valid despite failing to secure Champions League Football. An Arsenal source has told Football Insider that they are increasingly confident of tying up a deal for Gabriel Jesus with the club's Technical Director Edu Gaspar recognized as the key driver for the negotiations. According to football insider, It is believed that Jesus has told friends that he is eager to link up with Arteta.

Earlier, football London reported that the North London club made some progress during initial negotiations with Jesus' agent shading some light over the player's transfer link to Arsenal.

“We had talks with Arsenal about Gabriel Jesus, we like the project. It’s a possibility we’re discussing," said Marcelo Pettinati who is the player's agent.
