Kenyan stadiums have been known to be of poor quality for several years which has made it's national team (harambee stars) and league (the kenya premier league) to always rank poorly in Africa and some of it's peers like Tanzania league (Vodacom premier league) be ranked above them.
But recently things have been changing and very soon Kenya might dominate this region in stadiums because the government has committed itself in construction and renovation of stadiums, here are the top five stadiums currently in Kenya;
1. Kasarani stadium
It is located in Nairobi and is currently the biggest stadium in Kenya with a sitting capacity of 60 000.
2. Nyayo stadium
Nyayo stadium is currently in the best form after it was recently renovated, it is located in Nairobi and has a sitting capacity of 30 000.
3. Bukungu stadium
It is located in Kakamega, though it has not yet been completed, upon completion is expected to overtake Nyayo, it will have a sitting capacity of 30 000
4. Kinoru stadium
It is located in Meru county and has a sitting capacity of 30 000.
5. Kenyatta stadium
It is located in Machakos county and has a sitting capacity of 15 000 but it is ranked highly because of it's pitch.
