Cheche has previously played for FKF Premier League sides Nairobi Stima, Tusker FC, AFC Leopards and Mathare United. Internationally, he has played for Saudi Arabian sides Al-Tawoon and Al-Nasr, New York Cosmos in the US, and Brommapojkarna in Sweden. He was a Harambee Stars regular for many years.
Cheche is Posta Rangers' 13th signing of the transfer window having signed Samuel Njau from Gor Mahia, Sammy Imbuye and Timothy Otieno from Sofapaka, Brian Marita, Chrispinus Onyango and Sammy Meja from Tusker, Kennedy Odhiambo from Western Stima, Victor Ndinya from Wazito, Levian Ochieng from Equity FC, Vincent Wasambo from KCB, Alfred Tanui from Kisumu All-Stars and Sindo United's Brian Otieno.
Posta begun their 2021/22 FKFPL season last week on a losing note against Kariobangi Sharks.
