Arsenal midfielder Fabio Vieira is proving to be too good to sit on the bench. This is you by his recent performances. Vieira joined Arsenal from Porto in what was a questionable move since the number ten position seemed to be complete. With Smith Rowe and Odegaard. But then, Arteta has been vindicated as Vieira adds a different quality.
Vieira scored in the second consecutive match that he has started in. He scored against Brentford in the premier league and then scored again yesternight against Bodo/Glimt. He gave the assist for the second goal that was scored by Rob Holding and then netted in the third from a Gabriel Jesus assist.
With Vieira's overall performance being top class, it is therefore going to be hard for Mikel Arteta to choose bis best eleven. Odegaard on the other hand is playing well and is also the captain, while Vieira is also playing at top level and proving that he needs more minute's in the league.
Arsenal won 3:0 at the Emirates yesternight.
