Man United: Three sightings at Carrington, as well as a clear indication of a key tactical change

As the international break has arrived, and all attention is focused on international football, as a Manchester United fan, here are the key stories you may have missed from the club.

According to the Athletic, Manchester United's assistant coaches Kieran Mckenna and Michael Carrick have gone above and beyond to assist Ole in changing his tactical formation by putting McTominay through intensive defensive training in preparation for him to take over the sole defensive midfielder role in the 4-3-3 formation.

For a long time, Ole's use of the 4-2-3-1 formation was thought to be a hindrance to his attacking prowess because it made United too defensive. The pressure appears to have gotten to Ole and his technical bench to go ahead and implement the 4-3-3 formation they have been looking to implement for quite some time. Many believed that Matic would be the key to the formational change, but it now appears that McTominay is set to be the key.

Marcus Rashford is set to take the next step in his shoulder injury recovery this week, after completing his first full team practice last Friday. According to reports, Manchester United will play a closed-door friendly in which Rashford is expected to play and demonstrate that he is ready to make the league matchday squad once the international break is over. Leicester should be concerned if he makes an appearance this week and goes through full training next week.

Aside from Marcus Rashford, Amad Diallo has recovered from an injury that has kept him out since the season's beginning. Despite the fact that Amad was set to leave Manchester United on loan to play for Fenerbahce, his return from injury broadens Solskaer's options at a time when Manchester United's schedule is jam-packed until the end of the year.
