FERDINAND OMANYALA clocks 9.85 seconds to win men's 100m race; beats American sprinter Fred Kerley who came second with 9.92 seconds. #KipKeinoclassics in Kasarani today.The African record holder in 100m race says he still got alot to bring in to the competition so that he can dine in the same table with other greats like Usain Bolt.

Kenyans were overjoyed by the sprinter many claiming it is their time as a country to shine in short races as well since the country is known for its longdustance runners like the famous Marathon King Eliud Kipchoge.

Other races included 1000m.800m and field events such as javelin which saw many professional athletees participate and get a taste of the local athletees.Omanyala aims at being the first Kenyan to win the mens 100m in olympics and The word athletics competition.

The sprinter who also serves as a police officer hopes and believes that he is going to achieve is dreams.
