Former AFC Leopards Chairman and Nairobi County assembly speaker Alex Ole Magelo is dead. He succumbed to Covid-19 according to Tuko News. The news of his death has been confirmed by various media personalities like Radio Jambo's Fred Arocho.
Magelo was the Nairobi County assembly speaker from 2013-2017. He was also a long serving councillor for his ward. He was elected Chingwe's chairman in 2011, a position he held till he retired. He died for the FKF chairman in 2019 but lost to Nick Mwendwa.
Kenyans have mourned him as a great visionary leader.
