Arsenal have been dealt a big blow ahead of their much anticipated North London Derby against their familiar rivals Tottenham Hotspur. The Gunners' prolific attacking midfielder and winger Emile Smith Rowe has been ruled out for two moths after undergoing groin surgery. The club confirmed the details of Smith's absence in a statement.
Smith Rowe picked up the injury during the warm down prior to Manchester United clash at Old Trafford. While the injury wasn't expected to be as bad as it was alleged, however, in the latest reports, the player can not return to the pitch until full recovery is achieved.
Meanwhile Arsenal are set to square it off against their arch-rivals Tottenham Hotspur in a bid to clich the three points to retain the top position in the Premier League. Smith presence has always been of significance as he mostly starts off from the bench. The player is expected to make a sensational return to training towards the end of December.
