Troubles For Klopp Ahead Of City Visit To Anfield As 'Upto 7 Stars Injured Including Diaz' In Blow.

Manchester City are expected to take a trip to Anfield in Premier League encounter this Sunday evening. The red's of Merseyside are looking forward to a warm welcome of Pep Guardiola's men to challenge for the Premier League title. Which Klopp recently said they aren't among the favourites to win it this season.

Currently after playing nine games Manchester City have some 23 points while Liverpool who have played eight matches in this season have only ten points. However a blow to Klopp the red's may miss upto seven players in this fixture.

According to Sports Mole they have Naby Keita down with a the knee injury and expected return date should be on October 29 against Leeds United. Curtis Jones is struggling with the calf problem, it's a minor issue so he can be assed for availability.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has a thigh problem and his assumed to be at least available when Liverpool take on Leeds United. A blow to Klopp as Arthur Melo who arrived in last summer. To as well offer cover for injured players is out with a thigh injury.

Defender Joel Matip is another high profile player out in a busy treatment room with the latter struggling with a calf problem. A move which may leave Klopp with selection headache in his last line of defence against Erling Haaland, Foden and Grealish for City.

Diaz had joined the injured players with a knee issue and so is a well playing Alexander Arnold who is down with ankle problem. This is a challenge for Klopp especially against the free scoring Pep Guardiola's side who have lethal striker Erling Haaland.
