Manchester United are hoping to come back next season while strong after a disastrous 2021/22 season that saw them miss out on UEFA champions league qualifications.
In order to compete for major silverwares, the Red Devils will be expected to make a squad overhaul in an attempt to land a centreback, defensive midfielder and a Striker before the closure of the transfer window.
However according to Man United News, Erik Ten Hag has told the board to sign Jurrien Timber and Darwin Nunez for the club as first as possible.
Jurrien Timber, 20 is set to reunite with Ten Hag at Old Trafford having been viewed as a perfect target to replace Harry Maguire who hasn't been at his best during the last campaign.
It's claimed that the deal is being closed in with the Old Trafford heavyweights expected to Shell out a fee of £34m to sign the Dutch international.
Meanwhile, Darwin Nunez has as well been approved as a perfect target for Man United and therefore a move is imminent with fee yet to be agreed on.
