London based club Chelsea have been in search of a good striker ever since Antonio Conte let go of Diego Costa during his reign as Chelsea manager.
Chelsea would signed Morata from Madrid but he did not deliver.
Since Thomas Tuchel joined Chelsea early this year, he seems determined to bring the club back to its high level standards. German striker Timo Werner has been getting more game time but has repeatedly disappointed, although he has contributed in a couple of goals.
Chelsea board has in recent days been in contact with Romelu Lukaku's agent concerning his possible transfer to chelsea.The Inter Milan striker has had a great season in Italy under Conte. He has scored 23 goals and more than 10 assists. With Conte rumored to leave Inter at the end of the season, chelsea could have a chance at signing the striker.
Inter would be willing to sell Lukaku at a £80 m. However, Chelsea are also interested in Harry Kane whom wants to leave spurs as well as Dortmund striker Halaand at a cost of £150 m.
