Tusker FC alias the Brewers have many injuries that could affect their continental journey.
The Kenya representatives in CAF Champions League Tusker FC have been hit by injuries and illness just two weeks before their match against Egyptian champions and five-time winners of CAF Champions League, Zamalek in Nairobi.
The Kenyan champions might head into the match without a number of key players, this already caused them great embarrassment in the FKFPL opening match against AFC Leopards as they lost 1-0.
Players with injuries include goalkeeper Emery Mvuyekure, strikers Deogratius Ojok and Joshua Ibrahim, midfielder Teddy Osok, defenders Hillary Wandera (sole left-back), Wellington Ochieng and Charles Momanyi.
Tusker defeated Djiboutian side, Arta Solar7 in the preliminary round to qualify for the first round, meeting with Egyptian champions Zamalek.
The FKFPL champions signed ten players in the open transfer window but will have to strengthen the team further with the left-back position, defensive midfield and attack being prioritised.
