Western Region Runner's up Bungoma RFC take on Nairobi Region Champions in the National Quarter-finals, in what promises to be a mouth-watering fixture later on today.
Daystar University put 72 points past Ngong RFC a fortnight ago in the Nairobi Region final, while Bungoma RFC Narrowly lost 10-8 to Western Region unbeaten Champions Sigalagala RFC.
The two sides have not met before in a Rugby 15s match, and while the odds might be in favour of Daystar University for being hosts, take nothing away from Bungoma RFC who might just pull a surprise upset on the Falcons as they are commonly referred to.
The two teams also have different styles of play, which makes the match potentially more interesting, with Bungoma RFC preferring the Physical and direct route which they are pretty much good at and well known for. Daystar Falcons on the other hand, prefer spreading the ball to their quick and agile backs who are quite elusive to say the least.
