OPINION: Aubameyang might Probably Lose his Position at Arsenal Immediately the AFCON ends

After displaying poor performance against Manchester United last night, it's arguable that Arsenal captain Pierre Emerick Aubameyang might be playing his last games for the club. The Gunners' boss has been very patient with him and perhaps looks forward to helping the player regain his confidence. However, his efforts looks fruitless.

Since yesterday, a lot of rumours link Arsenal with transfers involving strikers. The names circulating in the ears include Everton's Calvert Lewin who is reportedly Mikel Arteta's first priority next summer and Jonathan David of Lille tooIn addition to that, Arsenal confirmed their interest in Fiorentina starboy Dusan Vlahovic and Kulusevski of Juventus in the past few weeks. This indicates how thirsty the club is in finding a striker.

Comparatively, the coming of Tomiyasu led to benching of Chambers and Soares. The same case with Nuno Tavares vs Kieran Tierney and Ramsdale vs Leno. Arguably, should Arsenal bring any striker this January, Aubameyang will definitely stay benched. Do you agree with this?
