FC Barcelona had an impressive campaign last season. This is especially after the arrival of club legend Xavi Hernandez as Head coach. He was able to transform the team helping them secure a second place finish with qualification for the Champions League.
With the new coming season approaching, Barcelona seems to be prepared to go all out for silverware. This is seen in their recent signings.
Barcelona have confirmed the signing of 25-year old midfielder Frank Kessie from AC Milan on a free transfer until the year 2026. The Ivory Coast International will be hoping to pair in midfield with the likes of Pedri Gonzalez and Sergio Busquets.
Barcelona have also confirmed the signing of Andreas Christensen from Chelsea on a free transfer until the year 2026. With Pique nearing the end of his career, Christensen is a suitable replacement. Maybe he'll help solve Barcelona's defensive woos.
With the new signings, Barcelona will be hoping to dominate once again in the domestic league and UEFA Champions League.
