Pogba Available, Sancho, Lingard Start: Rangnick's Lineup That Could Crush Middlesborough

Much has happened off the field since Rashford's last-minute winning goal in Manchester United's last Premier League match before the winter break, which was at home against West Ham. Mason Greenwood has been suspended for his off-field misconduct, while Amad Diallo, Anthony Martial, and Donny Van de Beek have all been loaned out.

Rangnick's focus as the break comes to an end will be to continue fine-tuning his squad for Friday night's FA Cup clash against Middleborough, in order to give United fans something to cheer about after all of these negative events have taken up the majority of their attention.

Rangnick may be able to welcome back Paul Pogba, who has been out with an injury for some time, to his matchday squad. In addition to Pogba, Jadon Sancho, who has been out for the last few games, could return. You may have some ideas about who Rangnick might field against Middlesborough by now, but before you scratch your head, let me share with you Rangnick's possible lineup against Middlesborough:

Rangnick may give Henderson some playing time in goal after his failed transfer attempt. Shaw and Wan Bi Saka are still recovering from injuries, so Telles and Dalot could continue their full-back runs. To strengthen their partnership, Maguire and Varane could be paired at center back. In the 4-3-3 formation, Matic could start as a defensive midfielder with Bruno Fernandes and Jesse Lingard playing as double number 8s in front of him. Cavani could play as the center forward, with Sancho and Rashford on the right and left wings, respectively.

Middlesborough may be a championship team, but they must be respected because they have only lost once in their last five games.

Could the lineup above silence Chris Wilder's Middlesborough? Please share your thoughts in the comments section below.
