Chelsea are pushing their luck in signing Raphinha since according to sources around the player, Barcelona are trying very hard to sign the player this summer. The talks are currently on hold since Raphinha is waiting for Barcelona to counter Chelsea’s opening offer of €60 Million and that is a big cause for concern especially to Thomas Tuchel. Arsenal are no longer in the race because of how Chelsea’s blocked their transfer bid but could login in once more since it seems that the player is undecided about joining Chelsea.
Thomas Tuchel has already held personal talks with the player about his role at Chelsea next season. A second meeting has been scheduled to see whether the German manager can help the winger decide once and for all which club he wants to play for next season.
Hakim Ziyech is bound to leave Chelsea this summer after two years of fallow experiences at the club. The Moroccan has really struggled a lot under Thomas Tuchel and many believe that the best thing for both parties is for the winger to move to another club where he has more chances of playing. AC Milan are currently the front runners in the race to sign the attacker and with Paolo Maldini extending his contract as the club’s football director, talks for Ziyech are expected to pick up pace in the next few weeks.
Ziyech has already greenlighted the transfer move and his agent is working around the clock to ensure that the deal reaches the finishing line as soon as possible. In preparation for Ziyech’s imminent arrival, the Rossaneri are open to hearing offers for Alexis Saelemaekers whose contract is due to expire in the next 12 months.
