Jeff Kuria is better known by his stage name as 'Muteteri Wa Jeshi', was born from Thamada village, Kikuyu constituency in Kiambu county in a family of four siblings. Just like other children from humble background, he attended a day primary and secondary school before moving to the city to seek for employment where he landed in a manual labour in a construction company. Later on he joined Kenya Institute of media study and graduated in 2005 with a diploma in journalism and mass communication.
Currently, he is an employee of Inooro fm, an affiliate station of Royal media services, host a breakfast show 'Hagaria' aired from 6am to 10am on every weekdays with his inseparable colleague Nyokabi wa Njuguna. His program is characterized by laughter, humour and proper masterly of Kikuyu language.
In his morning program, kuria has recounted how he lost 200k within a day in betting. He was influenced by a colleague who had won over a million shillings. Jeff picked Chelsea to win against arsenal but it ended in a draw. Since then has never invested his money in the gambling companies and has advised the youth to learn from other people's mistakes to avoid wasting money and instead to look for a certained business.
