The 2021/22 UEFA Champions League competition kicks off on Tuesday as 8 matches rolled down.
The Tuesday results led to some clubs sacking their managers. Thomas Tuchel was sacked by Chelsea four hours after losing to Dinamo Zagreb, the same action was taken against RB Leipzig's manager Domenico Tedesco who also lost his first champions league game to Shakhtar Donetsk who crashed them 4-1 at their home soil.
Sevilla FC also followed in the same footsteps as they parted ways with their tactician after registering a 4-0 loss to Pep Guardiola's side.
Away from that let's look at the players with the most goals so far in the UEFA champions.
Barcelona's forward Robert Lewandowski bagged a hattrick when his side thrashed victoria Plezn 5-1 in their opening match making him the current top scorer. Five players have netted two goals so far each.
Richarlison of Tottenham, Mbappé of PSG, Shved of Shakhtar, and Zielińsk of Napoli Fc have both scored two goals each.
