The Blues were in action yesterday against Inter Milan in the Champions League competition as they hope to qualify for the next round. They had only won one Champions League match.
In that match, the Blues kicked off with a high pace as they looked for an early goal. In the 18th minute, the Blues were awarded a penalty as Inter Milan player Tomori was sent off.
Jorgihno took the responsibility from the spot as he scored the opening goal for the Blues. In the 34th minute, Aubameyang added the second one to give the Blues a strong lead in before the end of the first half.
Inter tried to fight back in the second half but the Blues defence remained solid throughout the match. Graham Porter men ended up grabbing all the three points by the end of the final whistle.
In that match, one of the Blues stars who impressed is Aubameyang. The Gabon International was left out on the bench in their last weekend match against Wolves. Yesterday he was one of the player who played a major role for their victory as he was among the scorers.
Aubameyang top perfomance in yesterday's match proved he can be unstoppable in the coming matches if Graham Porter will stop benching him. This now means that, Aubameyang proved Graham Porter wrong for benching him after yesterday's match.
