According to BBC Sport, Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis has said Senegal defender Kalidou Koulibaly will leave Napoli for the right price this summer. The 29-year old has been a target for Manchester United and Manchester City. Napoli values the defender at £90m which is a huge fee. According to Inside Futbol, Manchester City are set to make a fresh offer of £66m for the defender next week.
Arsenal to offer Guendouzi and Lacazatte for Thomas Partey.
Mikel Arteta is keen on establishing Arsenal as a strong side in preparation for the 2020/21 season. Arteta has his eyes on Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey. The 27-year old Ghana international has a £44.5m release clause. According to the Mirror, Arsenal have offered Frenchmen Alexandre Lacazatte and Matteo Guendouzi in a swap deal for Thomas Partey.
Man United stand firm on Chris Smalling valuation.
According to Corriere Dello Sport, Manchester United are not willing to lower their £18m valuation of Chris Smalling. The 30-year old England defender spent last season on loan with Serie A side Roma and he is keen on a return to Roma who are interested in him. However, there is hope that Roma will agree with Man United over the transfer of Smalling.
