Gambia Win, Burkina Faso Win and Tunisia 1-0 Victorious Win Qualifies them To AFCON Quarter Finals

A historical moment for the scorpions as Musa Barrow's finish put the Gambia in the quarter final of the AFCON. The Gambia have sensationally reached the quarter finals at their first Africa Cup of Nation as Musa Barrow's second half strike proved the difference against Guinea at Kouekong Stadium.

Burkina Faso stallions march on to quarter final this was after Burkina Faso reached the Africa Cup of Nation quarter finals for the third time in their last four tournament appearances- after an enthralling encounter went to an epic penalty shooting which saw the stallions down Gabon 7-6, with Ismahila Ouedraogo scoring the deciding penalty.

The Panthers leave it very very late to find the equilisizer as both teams ended up full time draw of 1-1, and head to 30-minutes of extra time to decide the winner.

The two sides of Nigeria against Tunisia end the first half on equal terms, while in second half the eagles of Carthage qualifies to the quarter finals courtesy of a Yuessef Msakni rocket. Leading contenders Nigeria were dumped out of the Africa Cup of Nation in the round of 16 courtesy of goalkeeper Maduka Okaye error as Tunisia reached their fourth successive quarter final at the tournament to a 1-0 victory in Garoua. The Eagles of Carthage soar through to the final 8 for the fourth successive time.
