According to The Athletic, the FA are looking into an incident involving an Arsenal player receiving a booking during a Premier League game this term, amid concerns involving suspicious betting patterns.
The investigation is aimed at bringing honest in English premier matches especially for Gunners. Allegations by Arsenal's stakeholders have shown that some match officials receive large sum of money for booking cards for key Arsenal players.
Arsenal has not been on good side this season. Its players have been sent off by being red-carded for unnecessary incidences. Xhaka has already received two red card in this season why Gabriel Magalhaes booked one red card. The circumstances under which they are booked cards are not necessary for such a card.
If FA secures transparency in English premier matches, Arsenal are likely to enjoy the benefits. There players will be under protection by FA. The fans are hopeful that FA will bring in the desired transparency.
