The FIFA world cup is no doubt the highest football competition in which national teams participate in. It takes place after every five years and having taken place in 2018, the competition is going on in Qatar in the round of 16.
The competition has a total of 32 teama participating, 5 teams from Africa quallified but only Senegal and Morocco made it into the round of sixteen before which Ghana, Cameroon and Tunisia were eliminated in the group stages.
After making it into the next round, Senegal is set to play tomorrow against England in the FIFA world cup 2022 round of sixteen match in Qatar. The Lions of Teranga have been hit with an inconvinience because their first team head coach has fallen ill.
Aliou Cisse who coaches the Senegal national team is ill, assistant coach Regis Bogaert has confirmed that Cisse did not show up for Friday's training session and today.
