After failing to sign Dusan Vlahovic from Fiorentina, Arsenal have now turned their attention to Alexander Isak and Dominic Calvert-Lewin, with a move for one of them planned before the transfer window closes.

A while back, John Barnes, a Liverpool legend, urged Arsenal to sign Calvert-Lewin. In an interview with Bonus Code Bets, he stated,
"Arsenal have been linked with Dominic Calvert-Lewin, which would be a good signing for them,
"Realistically, he hasn’t done a lot for Everton to even talk about him warranting a move. However, if he was to go to Arsenal, it would be a brilliant signing for both parties, especially Arsenal."

According to Ferdinand, the Everton striker will be difficult to sign, and despite the fact that Arsenal and West Ham have expressed interest in him, Everton will be keen to keep him.
Ferdinand stated on the Vibe with Five YouTube channel:
"There's no way.
"I don't think Everton let Calvert-Lewin go in this window. No chance. He's one of the crown jewels. No way!"
