The pressure is mounting on Interim Manager Ralph Rangnick to deliver better results,to ensure the team qualify for next season's champions league football.
As the red devils prepare for a trip to Anfield, their squad have been hit by a hitch,as the club confirms Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo will miss the clash, due to suddening news of the death of his newborn son.
According to Manchester Evening News, the club have release a statement confirming his absence. “Family is more important than everything and Ronaldo is supporting his loved ones at this immensely difficult time. As such, we can confirm that he will not feature in the match against Liverpool at Anfield on Tuesday evening and we underline the family's request for privacy."
This is a huge set back for United whom have not won any match this season, that Ronaldo haven't been in the starting eleven. As Liverpool still locked in the race for the league title,it's a huge opportunity to win the match and keep the pace with Manchester city.
