World's richest man Elon Musk who is also officially the sole owner of Twitter has been receiving thousands of tweets from Manchester United fans urging him to buy the club and save it from its misery.
Elon Musk who apart from owning Twitter is the founder of Tesla Motors Company and SpaceX is estimated to be worth more than whopping 200 billion US dollars.
To support their claims, the United fans have brought up an old tweet by Mr Musk which he tweeted back in the year 2017. In the tweet Elon confesses that he loves Manchester United. Then a Twitter user by the name Dave Smith challenges him to buy it; and he responds by asking for the club's price.
Many United fans would like the club to have a new owner especially on Musk's calibre since they claim that for the past 17 years, the Glazers family have been running the club poorly.
