Crystal Palace vs Burnley; tips on where to invest

Premier league fans will enjoy only one match on Monday June 29; Crystal Palace (The Eagles) hosting Burnley (The Clarets) at Selhurst Park.

Three points for either side will have an impact on the race for a Europa League place.

Burnley endured a 5 – 0 thrashing by Manchester city on their return to action but leveled up with a 1 – 0 win against Watford. In spite of their commendable victory over Watford, Burnley is experiencing a problem with numbers. Ashley Barnes and Chris Wood are out injured while Aaron Lennon and Jeff Hendrick set to leave on free transfers before the season ends.

Crystal Palace were hammered 4 – 0 by Liverpool after restarting the campaign on a good note with a 2 – 0 win over Bournemouth. They displayed an impressive performance against Bournemouth.

Wilfred Zaha and Jordan Ayew are far from prolific having notched only 35 goals this season. Zaha and Benteke could also miss the game amid injury woes.

Burnley have had the least shots on target in the league (35) from away matches and have not had a single shot on target in their last two away matches.

Minimal goals are therefore expected, probably under 1.5

Crystal palace have won the last four meetings with Burnley and will most likely win this one as well.

I’m calling a Crystal palace home win, with a goalless first half.
