Manchester City Overpower PSG To Book A Place In Champions League Final

What a dream, what a long wait, what a team, what a coach. This team just keeps getting better and better. Manchester City is the team in discussion here. At the start of the season no one expected them to make it this far in the Champions League. It is their first time to make it to the final of the Champions League and they really have done it in style, beating some really good teams along the way.

The teams that are said to be European heavyweights are almost all out with traditional powerhouse Real Madrid the only remaining team that can be considered successful in the European game.

Pep Guardiola's team beat PSG of France home and away to win the tie 4-1 on aggregate. The first goal came from Riyad Mahrez who was at the right place at the right time to smash home a ball that had slipped in the into the penalty area. He then finished off a sweet and beatiful counter attack to make it 2-0 on the night and 4-1 on aggregate. They now turn their focus towards the final where they will play the winner of Real Madrid vs Chelsea played later on Wednesday.

I would not be surprised to see them go on to lift the iconic big ear trophy. Whoever they face should be prepared. Notably, none of the members of Manchester City has ever won the trophy, you can imagine the hunger they have, plus their coach is not known to lose finals, atleast not the Champions league which he won last in 2011 with Barcelona.
