The competition's newcomers from Moldova,Sports complex Sheriff also will hope for a memorable debut as they host Shaktar Donesk.
The team that almost everyone sees as favorites Paris Saint Germain will start off their campaign against Belgian champions, Club Brugge.Paris who reinforced their squad with big names such as Leo Messi, Sergio Ramos, Gini Winajldum, Gianluigi Donnaruma among others will be hoping to get their hands on the champions League trophy for the first time in their history.
Premier League champions Manchester City will kick off the competition on Wednesday too as they will be hosting RB Leipzig at The Etihad stadium. Spanish champions Atletico Madrid will host Portuguese side Porto at Wanda Metropolitano. Liverpool will host AC Milan at Anfield as Sporting Lisbon host Netherlands' champions Ajax. Italian side Internazionale Milan will close the match week 1 fixture as they will play Real Madrid at San Siro, Milan.
