Chelsea football club is one of the best clubs in the world and one of the top six clubs in England. It is also the most successful club in the past two decades.They currently compete in the English top tier, the English premier league.They have over the years been able to attract great players and they also own an academy which is currently one of the best in the world.

The first ever black player to be signed by Chelsea in their history is Paul Canoville.Born in Southall, the winger played for Chelsea between 1981 and 1986.He arrived at the club when racism was on the rise in English football and successfully built a career to be among the club's legends.

Last week the club received very sad news that their hero was hospitalized and in critical condition from his family.The family Aldo asked for prayers for him, well their prayers seems to have been heard as the legend is now in stable condition and off the critical list though still in the hospital.
