Kenyan 100 Metre record holder Ferdinand Omanyala Omurwa has received much recognition by a Nairobi Based Matatu. The 14 seater Matatu has been donned in complete yellow colour. Omanyala Sacco is the latest Sacco in Nairobi City.
Ferdinand Omanyala hit headlines this year in the Tokyo Olympics when he reached semi-final of 100 Meters race. He ran a personal best record in the Tokyo Olympics where he defeated his childhood idol American Splinter Blake.
The year has been great for Omanyala who now holds African Record. He set and broke several 100 meter records. Odi bets have associated with Omanyala since he qualified for the Tokyo Olympics. The betting firm rewarded him with a Toyota Harrier over his exploits in Tokyo Japan.
Nairobi Matatu Culture is known for honoring National and international Icons. The recent move has portrayed how national heros should be appreciated when they are making their mark.
