Morocco left the whole of Africa talking after they skinned Belgium in an electrifying World Cup match. Morocco which was perceived by many to be an underdog team against Belgium pulled out one of the best matches in the World Cup and silenced Roberto Martinez's men
Governor James Orengo has lauded Morocco for their good match against Belgium, noting that the match is a great booster for other African teams.
The Governor took to social media after the message where he congratulated the team
"With that stoppage time goal from Morocco against Belgium; the African spirit is lifted a notch higher after Senegal also produced a wonderful performance against the hosts on Friday. Go Africa Go!" he said
Substitute Abdelhamid Sabiri found the back of the net with a nicely taken free kick that got world-class goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois by surprise.
Thibaut Courtois and the rest of the Belgium team expected the Sampdoria midfielder to put in a cross from the freekick, only for him to go the goal and scored a great one.
The second substitute Zakaria Aboukhlal received a nice pass from man of the movement Hakim Ziyech to make it 2 - 0.
Morocco will not need one point just a draw to move to the round of 16 depending on how other matches go.
