Frida Maanum
Arsenal Women FC midfielder Frida Maanum has admitted that she feels at home at Arsenal and does not regret the decision to join the Gunners during the last transfer window. She said that her decision to join Arsenal was anchored on the type of players that were at the club and the philosophies which governed the team’s gameplay.
Maanum said that Arsenal stood out for her because they are a fierce side in the Women’s Super League. She also praised Arsenal's working system from the coach to the technical staff who are always hands on deck when it comes to improving the team. In addition to that, she mentioned that there is a strong team spirit in the dressing room which is conducive for the working relationship among the players.
Aaron Ramsdale
From being given a lousy reception to being clamored for to play in the North London derby, this can only be described as a 180° U-turn fan base support by Aaron Ramsdale. On Sunday, Arsenal will play against Tottenham in the highly anticipated North London derby and every Arsenal fan online has urged Mikel Arteta to do what is right; to start Ramsdale over Bernd Leno.
Following his impressive debut season with Arsenal, Ramsdale is likely to topple Bernd Leno as Arsenal’s number one goalkeeper and every Arsenal fan is rallying his/her support to this prospect. Ramsdale has shown that he is more than capable of filling the number spot at the club as was seen in his brilliant performance against Burnley last weekend. But if Ramsdale starts tomorrow’s match, then he will most likely miss the North London derby match and instead be replaced by Bernd Leno.
Mark Robinson
Arsenal will be in action tomorrow as they face Championship side AFC Wimbledon in the second round of the Carabao Cup. Mark Robinson, AFC Wimbledon’s head coach, has personally asked Mikel Arteta to give him advice after their showdown tomorrow especially concerning how his team will play. Arsenal are fancied to be the favorites of tomorrow’s game.
