Fernandes Wins This Player of the Year for the Second Consecutive Time

Ever since Bruno Fernandes arrived from Sporting Lisbon much was written about him. However, he changed the narrative by transforming a toothless Manchester United into a consistent well oiled machine that came close to winning the Premier League for the first time since Sir Alex Ferguson retired.

In his second season people were still questioning his impact on the team. However, he has proven them wrong yet again. He is currently the top scorer for Manchester United this season and also leads in the assist department. He has also surpassed Frank Lampard record for most goals by a midfielder in a season.

His impact on the team has not gone unnoticed. As he has recently been awarded the Sir Matt Busby player of the year. This is the fans choice for player of the year for the club. Fans from over 200 countries overwhelmingly voted Fernandes as their player of the year. He won the trophy last season despite only joining the club in January. He will only get better as better players are introduced into the team. Congratulations Bruno Fernandes.
