Noordin Haji, the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), has recently been in the news due to rumors in the local media about an apparent feud with the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).
Noordin Haji exposed his sensitive side in an interview with KBC TV when he wasn't dealing with cases. He stated that he enjoys football and occasionally plays it, and that he supports Manchester United despite not being a die-hard supporter.
"I play football, but I'm not a huge admirer of the sport." "Timu yangu sahi inafanya mbaya sana!" he said, adding that his side, Manchester United, is now struggling in the football league.
He also addressed the general public's impression that the DPP's office did not want to prosecute certain instances. He went on to say that the assertion was incorrect and that they are always committed to seeing justice served only when there is sufficient evidence to prosecute.
