Anyone Can Get Into The National Team Depending On Who You Know, Arocho Drops Bombshell On Selection

Journalist Fred Arocho has today shared some insights into the sad state of affairs at Harambee stars and the football industry in Kenya at large.

He made an earlier post saying that he would not sit back and watch as Kenyan soccer sank.He said that despite supporting the current regime, the recent happenings were unacceptable.

Arocho had come under fire for being a strong campainer of the current leadership led by Nick Mwendwa, who has seen most investors in the footballing industry quit under his regime.Big club's like Gor Mahia and Leopards have seemingly suffered more during Mwendwa's time.

And while replying to a fan, Arocho claimed that he has always stood against bad governance even during Sam Nyamweya's time. Most people hailed insults at him then.

He added that currently the game has no merit and anyone can make it to the national team depending on who they know, or otherwise what we call connections.

That maybe confirms why some names have been left out of the national team for the ongoing qualifier.Wanyama, Joash Onyango and the likes. The initial call up squad had six Kariobangi Sharks players, it's only in the revised squad that some of them were dropped.

Mwendwa has been said to favour Kariobangi Sharks in the KPL more than other teams.Well for now, the drama continues.
